Simon Dalferth

Simon Dalferth is Evaluation Programme Manager at EIPP. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Jacobs University, Bremen, Germany and currently works at the Executive Agency for Culture, Education and Audivisual in Brussels.

For Simon, public participation is a central element to make politics more accountable and relate results more directly to the needs of citizens. Therefore, he has worked since 2008 with EIPP and contributed to its establishment. Simon was responsible for the work carried out in the evalaution of BürgerForum Europa and has written the report Public Participation in Europe, published by EIPP.

Simon has published several papers and chapters on public particiaption and European internal security policy.
